Custom Made Microphone Preamp Units For Neve Ssl Api Other Gear Made To Order

The mic preamp pictured in this ad is the prototype for a series if such devices I have made for myself and others over the years. That particular model is designed for field use, and is thus capable if operating from a single 12 -30 volt supply , such that it can be run from a battery, ie np1, Anton Bauer brick, car battery, whatever. The internal supply rails on that unit are -18 volt. This preamp circuit can put out +27dB v before clipping.

I have made these with Anton Bauer battery plates on top , and have even run them on solar cells. For field work , ie golf , racing , etc. I can make these in just about any form factor you would like , rack mount , "throw down " like the pictured unit....
