1 channel Mic pre amp or compressor unit. The liquid Channel has real transformers and hardware components inside. Settings are dialed in pretty much from the preset recall. You have additional internal EQ to use if you want. The Helios, Millenia, Neve, API, Avalon, Amek, Pultec, SSL, Trident, Big Blue DBX, Fairchild, and Red Focusrite emulations are stellar. I own a few of the real preamps like the Millenia, Neve, Helios 69, and Avalon and I have to say...... The Liquid Channel pretty much nails them. I have multiple Liq channels, 1 must go reluctantly. The compression section is amazing. It features emulations of all 4 circuit types: Optical, VCA, Vari Mu, and FET. I printed the software manual (Liquid Control) and the User Guide for you in English. I included the Emulations description page as well (Pg 2 of the user guide I put together for you).

You can use this unit standalone, as well as with the software integration within your DAW. Its got some rack rash on top and bottom of case.
