The top gain control knob is stepped (or'notched') for easy of use and repeatability, while the attenuator is a variable trim allowing for precise adjustment.

This configuration is with the latest faceplate and knob designs from CAPI. It features the SL2520 red dot op amp, the most highly sought after op amp configuration for the VP26.

It also comes with the Litz output transformer upgrade, increasing clarity and evenness in output signal.
