Quad Eight Style Mic Preamp GAR AM10 / UTC & Jensen Transformers

The unit leverages a GAR AM10 discrete opamp, UTC O-8 input transformer with Mu-metal shield and Jensen JT-123-S output transformer. This is a brand new build leveraging vintage and new stock components. It is built into a repurposed up-cycled 2U enclosure.

The faceplate has been repainted in a grey hammertone finish. Transformer balanced input and output.

GAR AM10 fully discrete opamp. Vintage Honeywell Dukane VU meter. Phase reversal and 20dB pad on switches. This is an awesome sounding unit with 70s American console vibe (Quad Eight / Electrodyne / API). Please let us know if you have any questions.
