This has been my main tracking preamp for a few years, this was the first unit I had that actually worked on anything with any mic-sm57 sounded like a million bucks. Never had a real API but Ive had lots of expensive units and none worked like this when stacking tracks, no buildup or smear, very 3D sounding no matter how many vocal or guitar tracks-did I mention this thing was good?
