Universal Audio 6176 Channel Strip tube preamp / limiter

It sort of kills me to sell this venerable piece of gear, on which I've made so many of my favorite recordings, but I just moved to Brooklyn and don't have space for a studio anymore. My loss is your gain.

It sounds particularly amazing on vocals, but you can really mic anything through this and it sounds great. My guess is that if you're comfortable spending this much on a mic pre, you probably know a lot about this one. I have all the original packaging (I'm the original owner), it's in perfect shape, and its been lovingly used in my home studio for about a decade.
