Here we have a vintage 1960s British valve tube pre unit that was custom built into a rack enclosure Recently service and fully tested out. Full valve audio path using 2 x EF86 high gain valves, 1 x EL84 line driver valve, 1 x ECC83 valve These make an amazing BASS pre as well as high gain for mic use. This version has a 1/4" unbalanced Hi z input, 1/4" unbalanced high level line/instrument input, 1/4 unbalanced line output..

Also fitted are XLR mic input and line out. All unbalanced connections Fully tested and sounds great for a unit over 50 years old. Frequency response tested from 30 hz to 20k hz within 1db and approx 47db mic gain at full level Front controls for XLR input level control and then also a master gain control. 2 spare controls on the front not used.
