Alctron MP73EQ Microphone Preamp and Equaliser. Check my other auctions for the other one. Used one time in a smoke free home studio. The feel of controls and their alignment to the faceplate markings are never perfect on these units. They need to go now to make space for and offset some of the cost of the Silver Bullet.

The Alctron MP73EQ is an analog mic/line/DI preamp with a three-parameter EQ, sweepable filter. Based on the Neve 1073 classic analog design with a warm analog sound. Check any internet review or youtube if you are unfamiliar with the unit. The units worked really well on vocals with enough gain for a Sennheiser MD-411 and to reign in the top end on a Gefell MV692/M70. 19 Rack format with 21cm build depth.

With input and output transformers. Line input impedance: 10,000 ohms, Line -20dBm - +10dBm, XLR input at rear. Input impedance: 100,000 ohms, 1/4 input front.

Output: Balanced and floating to feed a 600 ohm load (source impedance 75 ohms). Maximum output +26 dBm into 600 ohms, or +20dBm into 150 ohms. Distortion: 1k Hz = 0.0245%. Noise: Measured at 80 db of gain with 200 ohm input termination, without 20Hz to 20kHz to assist in filtering out noise.

49dbu with final output stage at 50% EIN -129 dbu. 46dbu with final output stage at unity EIN -126 dbu. 56dbu without final output stage EIN -136 dbu. Controls either flat or switched out. Frequency response: 11Hz-77.65kHz, level change less than 0.2%.

External 24V AC 1.875A power supply for 230V with 2 pin "Eurostecker" plug. Abmessungen: B= 482 mm, H= 44,7 mm, T= 225 mm. Gewicht: 3,15 kg + PSU and box. Preamp EQ unit as photographed + original Power Supply + instructions and original package. The front flap of the cardboard box has slight damage about 2 long.
