I really don't want to sell this one! It's a fully modded Ampex 601 Tube channel, with an amazing preamp and a stellar D/I.

This thing nails that early Motown/Stax sound with TONS of character! Out of Austin Texas tears these down to the chassis and rebuilds them from the ground up, with all the original vintage flavor, but with all new high grade modern parts.

They do an amazing job. They even sand down the original chassis! It comes with the rare dark brown rack panels. Don't compare this to other 601's or 351's for sale online. This is a FULL rebuild, not a basic mod to an existing unit. The studio went out of biz and I'm forced to sell the remaining pieces.
