Anthony DeMaria ADL 1500 Optical Tube Compressor / Limiter LA-2A Style SQUASH

Incredible-sounding tube compressor, based on the classic Teletronix LA-2A unit. This one can be used as two separate mono processors or linked as a stereo bus (or drum overhead, or whatever) unit. This particular unit was serviced by Anthony DeMaria back in 2005, including retubing, recapping, and a new opto unit. The service notes warned that there was some heat damage and to keep it cooler; since I've owned it (maybe ten years) it's had plenty of ventilation around it in the rack, and it's always performed flawlessly for me.

At some point, the unit got a set of vintage knobs. You know, to make it sound cooler. Any other questions, feel free to ask. This is a truly amazing-sounding piece of audio gear.
