This is my personal API 512v 500 Series Discrete Microphone/Line Preamp, that I used in a commercial studio (not a muggy basement). It's 100% functional and operational. It was well taken care of an produced a lot of great music. The API 512c is the preamp section of the famous API console that produced a ton of hits in the rock world. The BIG balsy sound of the API preamp is as famous as the Neve 1073 is in the world of preamps and audio recording. Every major lable had an API console in thier arsenal to create the rich sounds of the Rock legends.
