Is a pair of separate microphone preamps with Class-A operation that provides up to 66 dB of gain with low-distortion levels in a compact 1/3 rack format. It features accurate signal metering, DI inputs, and 48V phantom power, and can be used in studio and live applications. Each channel of the RNP is built with a gold-plated 12-position gain switch, XLR inputs, TRS inserts between preamp stage and output drivers, 1/4 Hi-Z inputs, and +28 dBu TRS-balanced outputs. Additionally, there is very little coloration-no unexpected frequency response peaks and valleys- across the wide frequency response at the gain settings. Furthermore, the Hi-Z input is suitable for guitar, bass, and keyboard instruments while the balance XLR jack permits input with dynamic and condenser microphones.

Finally, the special circuitry constantly measures and adjusts circuit parameters to eliminate gain-control path capacitors. This avoids individual-trimming to achieve low-distortion, high-CMRR (common-mode rejection ratio) performance over the life of the preamp.
