Gates Biamote 1950's Tube Mic Preamp Mixer with Guitar Input

This Gates Biamote is a beautiful piece. There is 1 XLR mic input and a 1/4 guitar input. This is not a line input but a Hi-Z guitar input controlled by the master knob on the right and sent to a mono output. This unit uses three 5879 tubes and one 12AU7 tube.

In the 1950s these tube mixers were used for recording remotely. It is in excellent working order as it has been completely re-capped both electrolytic and coupling caps also retubed with new tubes. This unit sounds great on drums and works great with ribbon mics.

But best of all we removed the second mic input which is really useless and added a high impedance guitar input. Throw a guitar direct into this and mic'd guitar and it is an instant vibe. This item is listed in multiple sites as well as locally. There is a slight chance that it may sell before I can remove the item form this site.
