Racked Solo RCA BA-72A mic-preamp

We like the RCA BA-71/72 series so much we decided to try to make them as affordable as possible without scrimping on features. Of course, going with single channel units was the answer. Here's a restored BA-72A with all available options including adjustable meter, variable source impedance, active FET DI that runs through all the UTC iron, as well as 6dB boost, 20dB pad, polarity, and +48V switches. The BA-71/72 series are absolutely gorgeous sounding preamps. The engineers at RCA sure knew what they were doing: sweet, airy highs, lovely balanced mids, and smooth yummy lows make them my personal favorites.
