This is an original Telefunken V76 mic pre - the real deal. The tube have been changed with original old new stock. It has also been worked on by a top German tech who set up the connectors.

It does not need a transformer. The unit was used in a climate controlled professional recording studio. These is some rust on the chassis but that was there before I bought it and it has been throughly gone through Since then. This unit has increased in value ever year Ive owned it.
