Providing four channels of premium mic pre amplification in a single package, the 2001 strikes a perfect balance of performance and facilities and is ideal as a console pre amp upgrade, a front end for a digital systems or in a location recording rig. Each channel employs two stage valves stages, specifically an. ECC83 / 12A X7A valve run at 150v DC. Separate input and output level controls allow the valve stages to be driven harder if nessesary for increased harmonic generation, while still allowing the overall output level to be regulated. Individual control of phantom power, phase reverse and low cut filtering complete the feature set.
