Introducing the New M12 solo for those who need a Swiss Army preamp that sounds excellent everywhere you use it. Totally Discrete, Transformer coupled with tone shaping option. The M12-Solo is a single channel version of our Quad M12 preamp. The Vintage Audio M12 solo is a faithful reproduction of the classic API 312 made famous on countless records with no quality compromises and a number of performance increases. The 312 has long been a favorite in the industry for its unique sonic imprint and fantastic transient response for instruments like drums.

The M12 utilizes a Discrete Gar 2520 opamp just like the original, a custom set of Cinemag input and output transformers designed to be as close as possible to the most coveted versions of the API Design. Remote Relay switched: pad, phase and output pad for the lowest possible noise floor.

48Volt phantom is on board for condensers and other studio microphones. Custom Made Authentic Cinemag Transformer coupled inputs and outputs from the coveted 1970s version of the preamp (Richenbach). High quality, Mil Spec Panasonic, Vishay and Wima parts.
